Lil Wayne claims another title in the name of Hip-Hop: the first true Hip-Hop artist to perform live at the CMAs. Yes you read the right the Country Music Awards. Wayne teamed up with Kid Rock for a live performance of Rock’s summer jam “All Summer Long.” The duo preformed the same song earlier this year at MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Interestingly, Weezy didn’t drop a single bar. Instead the “best rapper alive” strummed a guitar alongside the bands actual guitarist. With the Crater III currently the best selling album of the year at 4 “milli” sold, just being on stage in the vicinity of Wayne is enough to make a hot show.
