The T-Mobile G1 is now available for purchase to new customers, via T-Mobile’s online store. The product page notes “extremely limited supplies” for new customers, but does list at the $179.99 new customer price. The phone will be available in retail stores tomorrow, for $179.99 with two-year agreement, and $399.99 without contract.
However, as we previously reported, the G1 will only be in T-Mobile stores within a T-Mobile 3G coverage area. All other customers will be instructed to order or backorder via T-Mobile’s web site.
We’d also like to note that we were at the pre-launch event yesterday in San Francisco, once again upstaging the competition with free coffee (and G1 hands-on demos), for everyone in line.
